A Comment from the owner of this bike:
I can say now that I have a few miles on it that I don't even know the couplings are there. Once tight and checked for tightness after a few rides they are in effect invisible in the ride of the bike. The frame is a custom steel hardtail, it's about a twenty inch size although it's shorter than a standard bike this size due to my long legs and short torso. I had fit issues with my old bike so I went to Strong Frames for a custom fitting frame and put the S and S coupling option on it which allows me to use the bike that fits me on tours, commuting, biking vacations or where ever I go.
